A Hummingbird Poem by Jack Dey

by Jack Dey
(Orlando, Florida USA)

Feasting on nectar
using their tubular beaks
flying from to flower to flower
with a high heart rate
of 500 beats a minute
and over 330 species
from tip of thier beak
to end of their claw
they are wonderful animals
