Species of Hummingbirds in Northern Canada
This list contains the species of hummingbirds sighted in Northern Canada. For convenience, they are listed in alphabetical order, not by frequency of sightings. An ornithologist was not involved in the creation of this list. It is intended for personal use. It is not intended for scientific work of any kind. The Rufous hummingbird is the most northerly ranging of all hummingbirds. It nests across most of British Columbia and into southern Yukon. Some sightings can be very rare.
