Species of Hummingbirds in Southern Canada

This list contains the species of hummingbirds in southern Canada.

For convenience, they are listed in alphabetical order, not by frequency of sightings.

An ornithologist was not involved in the creation of this list.

The Rufous hummingbird is the most northerly ranging of all hummingbirds.

It is exciting to see hummingbirds that are unusual for your location.

Some sightings can be rare.

Do you have any stories about hummingbird sightings to share?

We would enjoy publishing them on this website.
