Our Visitor's Sightings for 2011!

It has been a long cold Winter here in the Northeast!
We're expecting an April Fools Snow Storm of 6 to 13 inches of snow.uhgg!!
Needless to say, we are anxiously awaiting the Spring arrival of the hummingbirds.

Our visitors have been kind enough to let us all in on their hummingbird sightings this Spring.
We have a list of sightings submitted by our visitors on our website.
As sightings are submitted we are updating the list.
So far, Hummers have been seen in Texas, California, Alabama, Mississippi and Nevada.

Please help us with your submission when you sight your first hummingbird this year.

Go to our Migration Page to submit your sightings.
It helps everyone to get an idea when they can expect their tiny friends to return.
We urge everyone to set out feeders ahead of time and hang more if you would like to attract more summer residents to your yard. Go to one of the Tips/FAQ pages on "When to Hang Hummingbird Feeders"

New Gift and Birdbath Sections:

hummingbird water fountain

We added a new Gift Section to our store with some beautiful stained glass, water fountains, and designer bags by Harold Feinstein.

Solar Birdbath

We also have a new Birdbath Section with solar birdbaths that spray a mist for the hummingbirds.
Hummingbirds don't use the average birdbath since they don't perch. They prefer to skim a shallow basin of water or fly through a gentle mist. See More Information about this.

If you haven't already, you just might like to become a fan on our Hummingbird Guide Facebook page!

It's "A-buzz" with activity.
We have over 560 fans and they have been submitting their first sightings of the Spring.
We have many new visitor photos and we would love to see yours.
When your hummers arrive, get out your camera and send us some shots.

Please visit Our Store. There is a large selection of decorative, unique, basic hummingbird feeders along with many accessories such as the ant moats and brushes. Also, we have many beautiful "Woodstock" wind chimes available, Gifts and Birdbaths.
