Oh, the gift of this rare sighting,


all the colors...


so much beauty,


on just one, small, hummingbird.


Skillfully perched upon a very thin wire,


only for a moment, this short but glorious glimpse...


all during this swift and sudden early morning rain.


This little gift, merrily showering, while lunging


to capture every possible drop.


Oblivious to our presence, yet left in our minds forever...
