The Hummingbirds Hum and the Other Birds Sing at the Seasonal Changes that Nature Brings

by Alif
(America)

The leaves of autumn float to the ground
as the brown, orange, and yellow appear
geese are migrating all around
the wind's faint whistling is the sound they hear

The Hummingbirds hum and the other birds sing
At the seasonal changes that nature brings

The dim light of the warm disappearing sun
fade as the last of the orange and yellow pass
It reflects the farewell song the birds have begun
The animals of the land leave at last

The Hummingbirds hum and the other birds sing
At the seasonal changes that nature brings

When the ground itself gets cold and dry
and the meadows and grasses lose their green
The white flakes descend from the cold winter sky
and the harvested plants exit the scene

The Hummingbirds hum and the other birds sing
At the seasonal changes that nature brings
