Under a branch,
Moving swiftly
Minute by minute
Intensely searching for
Nectar
Gracefully
Beneath the sun
Inches tall with a
Ruby throat
Darting from flower to flower.

Jaybird... I loved your hummingbird poem. It is very sophisticated (look it up) like you. Every time I see my hummingbirds fly up and perch on a tiny bare limb, I think of you because you said you had never seen a hummingbird alit. Have you yet?
