Patience is a virtue

This beautiful little Allen's hummingbird built a nest in a small potted ficus on our front porch.


Shot from inside our home in Irvine, Calif. on 3.1.15 with a Canon 60D and 300mm f/4 prime lens.

We have several feeders in our front yard, back yard and atrium, my favorite being the Jewelbox window feeder. We get both Allen's and Anna's feeding there daily.
