male ruby throat on rhododendron bulb

This male ruby throat was photographed through our living room window on the rhododendron bush in the Musquodoboit Valley in Nova Scotia. I used a Pentax K5 with a Sigma 100-300 F4 zoom lens on a Manfrotto tripod. The only other species of hummer that I have photographed was a female rufous, in Prince George, B.C.
