What do you see?

by Leah age 10
(Port. OR, U.S.A.)

I see a tiny red body,

With some blue and some green.
I see a thin black beak,
For sipping some nectar.
I see a little black eye,
and small little black feet.
Though the best thing I see,
Is those fluttering wings.
They flap so fast you can barely see them.
And there is the hum,
Do you know what it is?
It is the hummingbird.
